Computer, then phone
5. Install SideStore with iLoader
- Download iLoader for your computer (opens in a new tab), open it, and select the USB-connected iPhone. Accept Trust and Apple Account authentication prompts.
- On Linux, follow the iLoader .deb installation or AppImage launch commands before opening iLoader.
- Choose SideStore (Nightly). This is FleetDeck’s chosen channel. iLoader handles the pairing file.
- On the phone, if prompted, open Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → Developer App → your Apple Account → Trust. Follow Allow & Restart if shown.
- Reconnect LocalDevVPN, open SideStore, sign in with the same Apple Account, and refresh SideStore in My Apps.
A paid Apple Developer account is not required. You can disconnect USB after both Bootstrapper and iLoader succeed; later repairs may need it again.
