On the phone · keep USB connected
4. Enable Developer Mode
- Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Developer Mode, turn it on, and restart.
- Unlock the phone, confirm Enable / Turn On, and enter its passcode.
- If available, open Settings → Developer → Enable UI Automation and enable it. Otherwise, approve the phone prompt when you start touch later.
- Return to Bootstrapper and wait for its explicit success message. Reconnect LocalDevVPN after the restart.
Pairing can reveal Developer Mode. Developer Mode and UI Automation are separate settings; a later automation prompt may still need your phone passcode.
