On the phone

1. Prepare your iPhone

For remote touch, use iOS 17 or later. Keep the phone unlocked and on Wi-Fi, with its passcode and a data-capable USB cable ready. You also need a computer and a free Apple Account.

  1. Install LocalDevVPN (opens in a new tab) and Tailscale (opens in a new tab) from the App Store.
  2. Open LocalDevVPN, connect, and allow its VPN configuration. Enter the phone passcode if asked.

Keep LocalDevVPN connected for SideStore installation and refresh. You will switch to Tailscale before remote control.

  10. 10. Broadcast and keep the connection ready
